Standing Out from the Crowd

Welcome back. I hope you had a wonderful week-end. I know I did. I must say they are always too short. Back to work and another great week.

Today I have decided to put the article I used for my newsletter. When you sign up for my newsletter I will be sending out useful gifts to my subscribers so you don't want to miss out.

Below is the article I just sent out in my newsletter. Enjoy.

Standing Out from the Crowd By Linda Locke

These days it seems like there is more and more competition in the MLM field - new companies spring up out of nowhere overnight and everyone else is touting their hot new “product du jour.” So what’s an MLMer got to do to stand out in this over heated, over-hyped market? Well, fortunately, it’s not that hard. Most people don’t really think too much about how to market their MLM business in an effective and creative way.

Most people are lazy and just do the minimum and wait for the money to roll in.
What you MUST do to stand out from the MLM masses is to make the benefits of doing business with you so powerful that your potential customers and recruits will see you clearly as the best choice for their sponsor.

This is especially important if you want to successfully recruit people long distance -- you don’t have the advantage of being able to speak to them face to face -- you need to have a strong offer that really will convince them that you are the person they should do business with.

I’m always amazed when I receive information packs in the mail from distributors who obviously think that it’s not important to tell me who they are and why they are sending me this information. They don’t include a letter or note introducing themselves; they just throw a bunch of company sales literature in an envelope, stick their name and phone number on the back and expect that to do the trick. What a waste! With no personal letter or note and no information as to why I should consider them as a potential sponsor, how can I make an informed decision about whether this great opportunity is for me? And if they don’t follow up with a phone call, letter, or e-mail (which happens 95% of the time); most likely I’ll toss their expensive package of sales literature and keep looking for something better.
One of the most difficult things for people building an MLM business learning how to market their business effectively. Getting the company literature and becoming familiar with the products is just the beginning -- you need to really spend some time crafting a dynamite marketing system that gets results.

So, here’s some tips you can use to make your marketing efforts more productive and set yourself apart from the crowd:

Target one or two niche markets to focus on. Develop a marketing campaign designed to get their attention. What’s a good niche? Here’s some ideas to get you started - stay at home moms, downsized middle managers, women, men, generation Xers, baby boomers, seniors. Tip: Pick a niche that you are a part of - this will make it easier for you to figure out what that group’s needs and wants are.
Always send out a personalized letter with your information packages. Tell them your story - this will help make you more “real” to your faraway prospects and customers and help them get to know you. People like to do business with people they know and like -- do everything you can to make an emotional contact with them.

Develop a “Success Pak” for your downline - offer them a customized sales letter, free leads, free postcards etc. Give them a plan to get them started on the right path.

Develop a short customer/downline newsletter and send it out at least monthly; include success stories, info on new products, business tips and resources etc. It can be sent via e-mail, fax or mail. I have never known any successful MLMers that didn’t provide some sort of “newsletter” to their downline. It can be 2 pages, 4 pages or more; letter or postcard size; elaborate or simple. The idea is to just keep in contact on a regular basis.

Develop a web page that offers “real” information to help your potential customers build their business. There’s a lot of MLMer’s with web pages on the Internet that are just basic billboards. You can stand out by offering a little something more.

Write some helpful “tip reports” to share with people online and off. I know of one superstar MLMer who gives away free reports to anyone who’s interested. She provides valuable information that acts as a powerful “recruiter” for her business.
THINK SERVICE! Put yourself in your prospect's shoes and think of all the ways you can help them succeed in their business and then DO THEM! If you help your people to succeed and reach their goals, then you will be successful too.

Home Business and The Beginners

I know you are seeking to have your own business on-line so that you can spend more time for yourself and for your family. Trust me, this isn't going to happen to you over night. You need to find that perfect business to get into. I have been doing this for fifteen years. Don't do as I do, do as I say. My problem was I jumped around to one program after another and never stuff to one good program. I have been in good ones and I have been in ones that have ripped me off.

Most people are lazy and just do the minimum and wait for the money to roll in.

When you choose your business you have to stick with it. Find out all you can about marketing. If you are like me, you are low on funds, so you need to find the best way to do this where it won't cost you an arm and a leg. Believe it or not the safe lists are a great way to get prospects and they are totally free. You may have to build credits, but most of them you can send your ads free.

What you MUST do to stand out from the MLM masses is to make the benefits of doing business with you so powerful that your potential customers and recruits will see you clearly as the best choice for their sponsor. This is fine and dandy, but on line today, you have to have the best ad to attract the people. I personally find it hard to be in touch with people who sign up for something I am promoting. Most of the time when you email them, they never email you back. If you can, give them a call, make them feel welcome and talk over the program they have just signed up for is a good step in the right direction. Tell them the benefits you are getting out of the program. If you have just joined, tell them and see if you can come up with ideas on advertising your business with them. Working together is always good. With the business I am in we have conference rooms. We get together and discuss how we are doing and what we can do to improve our selves. Sharing with each other is an awesome way to get your business off the ground. Sponsors need to be available for their down lines.

I love the time I have on week-ends and will be posting again Monday. Look for my newsletter in the beginning of the week. If you haven't signed up the link to the sign up page is on the right. I am giving away special gifts so keep an eye out to see what it is.

Beginners and Network Marketing

For somebody just starting in network marketing I would suggest that you do not invest in a high end product, with a high commission payout at first.

Get into something that is low cost, $10.00, $20.00 or $30.00. Make sure it is something that you like. It is important to sale something that you like. I have tried businesses that were low in price but the product it's self, I did not like. It's easier to market something that is of interest to you. Guru's suggest that you start out with an e-book, but I think a reputable mlm company is just as good. At least with mlm you will earn a residual income on your down-line, where as to selling an e-book you only sale it to the person one time. If anyone is interested in a good mlm let me know. I belong to an awesome company and it's only $20.00 a month. I've been in two months and already in profit.

You can work at your own pace. Full time or part time. Do not feel pressured or you will not enjoy what you are doing. You will need to market somewhere each day. When people see you on a regular basis they will think you have something good and look into your business. It case you don't know what mlm means, it's an abbreviation for Multi Level-Marketing. That is a company who sales products to members who are required to bring in more members under them to form a residual income each month. The more people you have in your down-line the more money you will make. Try to find a company that only has two legs. They are easier to make money with and quicker.

Because this business is all about duplication, you need to join somebody who can help you to duplicate, you need an up line that resonates with you and who has the knowledge, ability and the time to show you how to duplicate.

You can of course take a product, design your own lead capture page, direct sales page and set up an auto responder. There are loads of products available to help you do this, however if you are just starting, your efforts would be much better spent on advertising and getting more traffic to your from you already and that allows you to spend your time in the most productive way, rather than designing Web pages and testing them to check conversion rates. When the time comes, I have all the tools you will need for free. I use them myself. The support and training are fabulous.

Network marketing is an amazing opportunity! Yes for most people it is hard work at first for little return but once your list grows, your knowledge grows, your reputation grows and your value and attractiveness grows, earning a residual income from home and taking advantage of those fantastic compensation plans suddenly becomes easy. People will want to join you!

I hope this article helps you in any way. Keep coming back for more great advice.

Having Money

Many of you think that you have to get your work out to a large number of people or be number one in your field to truly be successful. It is not wrong to feel competitive if that feeling helps you do your best at your job, but don’t feel that others who succeed in what you are doing can take away from your success. There is an unlimited supply of success. Every person in the world can be successful. Realize that you have your special place, and what you are here to do is in some way special and unique, no matter how many people are doing similar things. Are there people or companies you are competing with? Are you worried that their success might mean a loss to you? Take a moment to picture them succeeding beyond your wildest dreams. Then, imagine a reason why their success will be beneficial to you.

Do not worry about someone else taking away your idea, or doing what you are doing better than you are. As long as you do the best you know how and put out the finest quality product or service you can offer, you will be richly rewarded. It doesn’t matter what other people do. Even if someone is claiming the credit right now for your good work, don’t stop putting out quality work. You will be rewarded eventually. As with the tortoise and the hare, the one who works consistently and steadily, doing a good job all the time, will have more abundance and make a greater mark in the world than the person who takes shortcuts to beat everyone else out.

When you have money, see your money as a source of good; see it as potential to create higher purpose that has yet to be converted into substance and form. Keep picturing all your money in the bank or in your wallet as money that is awaiting your command to go out and create good for you and others. Appreciate your abundance, and realize that you have learned to tap in to the unlimited abundance of the universe. Your money is awaiting the opportunity to bring you good, and to improve your life and the lives of others.

Money is the key to life. Without it one can not survive. Be proud of what you have. As long as you are doing good with what you earn, you will always be in abundance. Always share your wealth. It will come back to you ten fold.

I leave you with these thoughts for today. Until tomorrow.

Are You Putting Off Your Dreams?

Are you putting off your dreams? Or have things slowed down recently? Is your life visibly changing the way you want it to? Or are you still stuck with the same problems?

I know that my dreams seem to be going in an up ward direction. Allot of people start off making good progress in the beginning. Then all of a sudden they stall. Sound familiar? It's very frustrating for me because I get caught up in peoples dreams. I imagine how their lives would be when they'd completed the changes they needed to make.

I can see the benefits to be gained, like having a larger income, enjoying more satisfying relationships and the pride that comes in knowing you’re doing exactly what you have always wanted – and making a great income doing it.

I can't say I know the answer for them. I'm sure there are many reasons. But I suspect there is one cause in every case. They have come to the point where they have done everything they could comfortably do and now they have arrived at a place where they've never been before.

Any new step forward, represents a step outside of their comfort zone.

If you want to improve the results in your life, you have to accept the fact that you can no longer do the same old things the same old way. That is the bottom line. I have discovered this myself. I keep doing the same old things over and over. Getting absolutely no where fast.

Make the Commitment to Change Whatever Needs to Change

Making a commitment to change your life is a big step. It usually occurs when something has happened to make you realize that you are unhappy with some aspect of your life. Often this event or circumstance will jolt you into deciding that the time has finally come to change your current situation. I am changing my situation by putting out this blog to try and reach as many people as I can. To help people move foreword. If I can help one person I have done my job.

The charge that you get from deciding to change your situation will keep you going through the early stages of your transformation. For example, it can energize and motivate you to read a book, take a course, and even go through all the details of setting up a business. All those preparatory activities are necessary and good – but they amount to nothing unless you are able to get your dream started. And getting your dream started -- actually kicking your dream into action -- is new territory. New means strange. And strange means uncomfortable. I myself are a little unorganized and need to get things in better order around my desk.

Take Action to Get Un-Stalled!

If you feel that you were off to a good start but are currently stalled, you need to admit to yourself that you have probably slipped back into your comfort zone. More than likely you have been deceiving yourself that you are making progress, but at the same time you are really not getting anywhere.

What you need to do is take action. Take that next step. Take action and move fore ward.

Maybe you know what that is. If you know exactly what it is, DO IT! If you don't know, or aren't sure, allow you intuition to guide you. Do whatever you feel compelled to do, but do it NOW to get yourself going again -- even if it means entering your discomfort zone.

What is your dream?

To become a freelance artist / writer / consultant?

To own your own business?

To become financially independent . . . perhaps even wealthy?

Don't put off the success you've always dreamed about.

As always, I wish you the best of everything that you are willing to accept for yourself.
